Ingredients
- 2.5 lbs chicken pieces drumsticks, thighs
- 2 piece large onions finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons Hungarian sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Cooked egg noodles or rice for serving
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until softened.
- Add chicken pieces and brown on all sides.
- Stir in minced garlic, Hungarian sweet paprika, and smoked paprika. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

- Return chicken to the pot and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
