- 1 ½ cups 300g granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup 90g cocoa powder
- 1 cup 125g all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave or over low heat on the stove. Allow it to cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
